New Music: June '06 - Four sacred songs.

New Music: May '06 "Cayenne" A demo of a song we've been working on for a while.  Another in our "Famous Monsters" song cycle.  Recorded at The Ravenswoodjones Studios on our trusty 8-track PortaStudio.

New Music: April '06- We did a recording session with Producer Ian Charbonneau in an old church and ran through about 9 tunes (in varying states of process).  Here are a couple of offerings from the rough mixes.

"A Man Like You" Is a Bert Jansch song from his Birthday Blues album.  We had been playing around with this song just for inspiration and at the session decided it should be documented. The actual title is "A Woman Like You". We had quite an interesting discussion about changing his lyric (without permission) and the vote was split.  This take is the unauthorized version.  Sorry Bert...are you out there Bert?  We'd love to hear from you.

"City To Dance" : Last Christmas we recorded the bells from the church next door as an intro to what will eventually be a whole City To Dance Extravaganza (A folk opera?).  This is the captured moment soul of the song in the session.  No bells yet.  Stay tuned.
